It is with profound love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Yolanda Perez, a cherished daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, on November 22, 2024. Born on December 17, 1965, in Cartagena, Colombia, Yolanda lived a life filled with warmth, joy, and an unwavering spirit that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She especially loved her children unconditionally.

A proud graduate of Union Hill High School, Class of 1984, Yolanda shined as a track and field athlete. Her exceptional talent earned her a place in the Hudson County Hall of Fame in 2000, an honor that reflected her dedication and passion for excellence.

Yolanda’s love for music and dancing was a core part of her vibrant personality. Her energy, kindness, and big-hearted nature brought people together, creating a legacy of joy and connection. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.

Yolanda’s legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.

Her family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the funeral home, Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family will gather at the funeral home for a funeral ceremony, Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Mass will be offered, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Union City, New Jersey. Followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, New Jersey.
