Angel Luis Lopez (71) of Hoboken, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family.

Angel Luis (Pipo) Lopez was born in Manhattan, New York to Rosauria Flores and Luis Angel Lopez on January 14, 1953. He worked part-time as a custodian for City Hall of Hoboken and drove the bus for New York Waterway. He was a devoted bus driver for many years, and always greeted his passengers with a warm smile, until he retired in 2019. When he was not working, he was a loving son, father, uncle, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. Angel (Pipo) will always be remembered for his love for food, his silliness, genuine smile, and his positive attitude on life. He always lent a helping hand without ever asking for anything in return.

Angel is survived by his wife, Sandra Lopez, daughter, Amanda (Paris) Lopez-Branda, son, Angel Lopez, sister, Vivian Casiano (Joseph), brothers: Charlie Lopez (Nilsa) and Sammy Lopez (Awilda), mother, Rosauria Gonzalez, grandchildren: Paris, Emersyn, and Zyanna, and his nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased in death by his father Luis Angel Lopez.
