Our fond memories of Russ, The Professor. Threw the best parties, especially Halloween. The organizer of the camping trips and taking the girls on outings. Always helping others in need and the neighborhood-block watch organizer. Best story teller! Loved making others happy. Friends for life, you will always be in our fond memories. Love Judy & John
Uncle Russell was a special individual. Always a pleasure to be around, always happy & chipper no matter what the
situation. It was my pleasure to help care for him towards the end of his life. We had lunch together, had some
chats, I shaved him up to help him feel more comfortable and we played some tunes he liked and watched some shows on TV during my visits. I know he fought as hard as he could to stay as strong as he could, but I am at peace knowing he is no longer suffering or in any discomfort. Uncle Russ I pray your soul is resting peacefully. Love sitting just talking never realizing a ten minute conversation was actually hours as we discussed Ireland and boys he grew up with, memories of his brothers and being a plumber in Jersey. His words were always welcome. He will be missed. My love to you Amy for your lost.
I have several fond memories of Russell: What stands out most was his kind nature and generous heart. I also am among those who admired and enjoyed his story telling and I even attended some open poetry sessions at NJ State university. He had a stimulating mind and an engaging personality. His was quick with a critique and revered by his peers. I must say that when he spoke, he commanded the room. Another side of him was how he was always willing to help a friend in need .
