Obituary of Aurea E Colon

Aurea Colon passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones but not before a fierce and brave fight against a brutal cancer. With great love and authority she raised an awesome family. Aurea was predeceased by her husband Juan Colon, sons Juan  Colon jr and Angel L  Colon, two grandsons Juan Colon and Angel Velazquez   Survived by her devoted  and loving partner Gabriel Rivera, her daughter Aurea Colon (Victor Colon) and her children Aurea Colon Rivera (Roberto Rivera) and son Victor Colon jr. Her daughter Lydia Colon and her children Justino Velazquez and  Isamar Arias. Her son Candido Colon (Yinna Colon) and son Brandon Colon. Daughter Naomi Butts (Alfred Fuchs) her children Erica Butts and Christian Butts. Her granddaughter Nydia Colon. Her brothers Herminio Miranda and Salvatore Miranda and sisters Margarette Miranda and Nelida Miranda Jimenez. She is also survived and loved by her great grandchildren and many beautiful friends that she cherished and were her extended family.

Aurea E. Colon resident of Hoboken, New Jersey.  Formally of Ciales, Puerto Rico.  Visitation will be held on May 8, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  Funeral will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, New Jersey.
