Idamis L. Gonzalez- Dumantt was raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She was the loving wife of Victor M. Dumantt; sister of Jose Lopez, and Teresa Lopez; mother to Nilsa Garcia, Elsie Garcia (late), and Geraldo L. Morales; grandmother to 8 grandchildren; and great grandmother to several great grandchildren. She came into the United States in the Summer of 1966. She was a seamstress and employed at various factories in Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ. She retired from Danni Dee Belt in Hoboken, NJ in 1989. Following her retirement, she met her current husband in the Public Housing Building located at Hoboken. She and her husband spent 28 glorious years together. She will be dearly missed. Idamis, I will love you forever. You will always be in my mind and in my heart. I will always love you. Thank you for being my wife for 28 wonderful, happy years.
