Obituary of Clorinda Mirante

Clorinda Mirante, 75, of Union City Passed away Monday July 10, 2017 at Englewood Hospital surround by her loving family. Clorinda was born on May 26, 1942 in Torrioni Italy. She came to America in 1964 where she met and married her beloved Husband Rosario Mirante of Union City on April 4,1965. Clorinda was a loving and devoted housewife and proud mother to their son Gerardo Mirante, also known as Jerry. Clorinda was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and made many lifelong friends along the way. Clorinda is survived by her Beloved husband Rosario Mirante of 52 years. Her loving son Gerardo Mirante and his wife Damaris of Union City. She also is survived by her four Cherished sisters, Dora Ibelli of Cliffside Park, Carolina Mirante and her husband Antonio of North Bergen, Alba Oliviero and her husband Vincenzo of Cliffside Park and Archangela Freda and her husband Migelo of Naples Italy. She is also survived by her three dear Brothers, John Centrella and his wife Angela of WoodRidge, Lorenzo Centrella of North Brunswick and Ugo Adda and his wife Angela of Naples Italy. She is also survived by her loving 34 nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her two loving sisters, Maria Barone and her husband Ralf of Coral Springs Florida, and Teressa Iommazzo Centrella of Naples Italy and her two deeply missed brothers, Filippo Centrella and his wife Lina of Cliffside Park and Vincenzo Centrella of Cliffside Park.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home in North Bergen. Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 14, 2017 at Flower Hill Mausoleum in North Bergen.
