We sadly announce the passing of our beloved Aunt Mercedes. Born in Bogota, Colombia, she worked as an office manager for many years. She led a fiercely independent and interesting life. As a young career woman, she traveled the world during the golden age of travel and came to the United States to live with her sister and her family in the late 1980s. She was preceded in death by her much-loved brother Alvaro Ramirez De Castro and sister Sara Cecilia Pajaro (nee Ramirez De Castro). She is survived by her brother Carlos Ramirez, her nieces and nephews, Doris, Alvaro Jr., Juliana, Cesar, Carolina, Margarita, Oscar, Juan Carlos, Daniel and other extended family members


Family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the funeral home. Monday, January 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Entombment will be held, on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 12:45 AM at Flower Hill Mausoleum, North Bergen, New Jersey.
