It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Michael Melo of West New York, NJ, who left us far too soon at the age of 32. A beloved son, father, and brother, Brian's gentle spirit and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Brian is survived by his mother, Gladys Jiménez, who loved him dearly; his siblings, Jose R. Jiménez, Pedro Jiménez, and Robert A. Powers, with whom he shared a close bond; and his two adored children, Emily Melo and Ethan Melo, who were the light of his life.

Outside of work, Brian found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time walking his dog, sharing memorable moments with his children, and enjoying his favorite Taco Bell meals. He had a knack for making others laugh.

Brian's kindness, humor, and love for those around him will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. His memory will live on in our hearts, a reminder of the joy he brought to our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Brian by spending time with your loved ones, cherishing each moment as he did. Rest in peace, Brian
