In Loving Memory of Juan Rodriguez

Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Juan Rodriguez, affectionately known as Pops and Papa, passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 88. He is survived by five children, twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his siblings. Born on April 26, 1936, in the small town of Omas, Peru, Juan worked his way through college and became a pioneer by moving to America at the age of 21. He played an integral role in bringing his family to the United States, assisting his brothers, sisters, and cousins on their journeys. A devout Catholic, Juan was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a proud Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and cherished spending time with his family, whether in New Jersey, New York, Peru, Panama, or Arizona, where he loved to travel.  In eternal rest, Juan will be reunited with his beloved wife, Linda G. Rodriguez, in Heaven.

Nuestro querido padre, abuelo y hermano, Juan Rodríguez, conocido cariñosamente como Pops o Papa, falleció el 11 de octubre de 2024, a la edad de 88 años. Le sobreviven cinco hijos, doce nietos, un bisnieto y sus hermanos. Nacido el 26 de abril de 1936 en el pequeño pueblo de Omas, Perú, Juan se abrió camino en la universidad y se convirtió en pionero al mudarse a Estados Unidos a la edad de 21 años. Desempeñó un papel integral en traer a su familia a los Estados Unidos. ayudando a sus hermanos, hermanas y primos en sus viajes. Juan, un católico devoto, era un miembro activo de la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Fátima y un orgulloso Caballero de Colón. Le gustaba la jardinería, la carpintería y le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, ya fuera en Nueva Jersey, Nueva York, Perú, Panamá o Arizona, donde le encantaba viajar. En el descanso eterno, Juan se reencontrará con su amada esposa, Linda G. Rodríguez, en el Cielo.

Family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at the funeral home, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Mass will be held, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, North Bergen, New Jersey. Funeral Services will be Private.
