I worked with Juan for the last 11 years and grew to love him like my 3rd son. He was always cheerful and happy, and it was impossible not to feel the same when you were around him. He truly cared about everyone and he cherished his family. He was always willing to help everyone. He will truly be missed and I will never forget him.

I don't even know what to say. I only met Juan a few times, but I was happy for my best friend Annais, because from the few times that I did hang out with her and Juan and even on phone calls, I could tell he was a genuine person and someone who would always love and take care of his family. When i heard the news i shed tears of my own as I was getting my children ready for school, because how could someone so nice and caring be taken away from this world and his family so young.

I’ve met Juan once in a family gathering and was mesmerized by his aura, his soft gentle demeanor, and his authentic self. This world was definitely a better one with him in it. My deepest condolences to his mom, sisters, Aniah and my beloved niece Annais.

I came to know Juan’s kindness, humor, and Witt while working in the Teamsters 560 Building in Union City New Jersey. Juan did maintenance type work for the INT 560 Union. When I retired from the Teamsters 560 Benefit Funds in 2010, Juan gave me a Card and book of puzzles to “keep me busy in retirement”. R.I.P. Juan

I’m still in shock, this has left everyone heartbroken. My deepest condolences to Aniah, and Anna, and his family and friends. Juan was the very best friend anyone could ask for, and I am so sad that he’s gone. He was always Happy, and smiling and laughing, always lighting up a room. Always giving his best advice, his best jokes, and, I just can’t believe it. I’ll miss you Happy. Rest easy.

I am lost for words and like many, was absolutely overwhelmed when I heard the news. It could not have happened to a better person. Juan was a gentle giant that will forever leave a beautiful impression in our hearts. Never had a bad word to say about anyone, never heard him curse or be rude to anyone and cannot say enough of the kind human being he was. He was always happy, cheerful and willing to help in any way he could. I will always cherish all the memories at Teamsters Local 560 of him and will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to Aniah. I hope you know and never forget how proud your father was of you and loved you dearly. Continue to always make him proud. My sincerest condolences to his wife, Annais, his mother and sisters. Rest in peace forever Juan. Until we meet again. Jeanette Borrero
