Obituary of Maria Margarita Peguero

Maria Margarita Paulino Peguero, 79, passed away on February 21, 2022 in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Visitation will be held at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home on February 27, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Burial will follow on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery from 10:00-11:00 am.

Maria was born on October 25, 1942 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was a devoted Christian who served the lord for over 40 years. Maria congregated at Iglesias Envagelica Pentecostal where she served as a deacon for over 15 years and was vice president of the women’s ministry.

Maria loved cooking, singing, writing poems, playing her guitar, and sharing wisdom with her family.

Maria is preceded in death by her son Antonio Paulino. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Angel Peguero and her five adult children Bienvenida Fernandez (Rafael Fernandez), Rafael Paulino (Vivian Lugo Rosario), Julio Paulino (Natividad Paulino), Neptali Peguero (Marlyn Peguero) and Wanda Landers (William Landers).

Her sister Olga Cruz ( Yani Cruz); brothers, Carlos Paulino and Guillermo Paulino (Eddy Paulino). Nieces, Olga Restituyo, Hosanna Cruz and Nephew; Pedro Delgadillo and Manuel Paulino 

Maria was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
