Obituary of Carmen Cotto

Mrs. Carmen R. Cotto, 80, passed away Friday September 3, 2021 at Riverside Hospital, Newport News VA. Born October 6, 1940 in Caguas Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Josefina Lopez and the late Flor “Ramito” Morales. Carmen Cotto was the wife to the late Alejandro Cotto for over 40 years. She always provided love and support for her family. She was the eldest out of 9 siblings; Carmen was very close to her sisters and brothers. She was proud of her son and daughter and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carmen is survived by her son Alexel R. Cotto, of Jersey City, NJ, her daughter Carmen R. Cotto, of Newport News, VA and 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She leaves precious and loving memories to Alexel Jr., Alyssa, Ciellesse, Phillip Jr., Gabriel, Noah, and Dalilah. Carmen was predeceased by her husband Alejandro. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, support and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement.
