Obituary of Jeane Ortiz

Jeane Ortiz, 87, of North Bergen, NJ, passed away on Friday morning, January 15, 2021 in Palisades Hospital. Visitation and service will be held at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home on Monday January 18, 2021 from 4-7pm. Burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 11am at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Spring Valley, New York. Jeane Ortiz was born on March 23,1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Jeane and Carmen Ortiz. He was an active Marine serving in the Korean war and a Purple Heart recipient. Jeane is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bruni Ortiz and sister in law Pat, of North Bergen. His grandchildren Derrick, Stephanie, Michelle, and Eugene, as well as great grandchildren, Angele, Alana, Lilliana, Natalie, Derrick, and Emmanuelle. Faithful sister Ruthie, and two brothers, Joe and Danny. He also leaves behind his adoring nephews, nieces, close friends, and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his parents and dedicated children, Diane, Suzanne, and Geno, as well as one brother, Albert.
