Milton Michael Abraham Sr. Born March 09, 1945 in Trinidad and Tobago , West Indies son of Yvonne ( née Sorrias )Abraham and Cosmos Abraham and brother to his younger sister Germaine Abraham passed away on June 16,2020 at the age of 75 Milton loved to travel the world as he left his beloved native home to live and work in many places such as Puerto Rico and St. Croix before he landed in the United States of America in New York City in 1973. He found himself a beautiful wifeBarbara Trotman whom they married in 1974 and had three children Ramona Natasha Abraham-Coley, Milton M. Abraham Jr. and Dawn Stacey Abraham. Milton’s early life is where he developed his love of God . Milton had many interests throughout his life. He loved life and learning . He loved and appreciated many genres of music. Anyone who knew Milton knows he loved reading books and learningthe spelling of new words , he loved cooking , he enjoyed art and loved to work with his hands. His many professions included working at Sea Train and Costal Dry Dock at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for 25 years as a welder. He loved and spoke Spanish fluently from which he learned from as he embraced his own distant Hispanic background. Milton will always be remembered for his penchant for details. He was always surrounded by many friends who appreciated Miltons generosity and kindness. Milton is survived by his three children , and 8 grandchildren (in order)Jasmine Abraham , Alycia Guillaume , Jiselle Abraham , Elijah Guillaume, MichaelMeeks , Marcel Meeks, Isaiah Meeks and Aamir Abraham . He also was an uncle and has a host of nieces and nephews.
