It was an absolute pleasure knowing Jay and his family all these years. My late husband, Police Inspector Carl Spincola had the utmost respect for Jay and the fine, caring father, husband and friend that Jay was and Union City will not be the same without Jay and the Inspector sharing a morning coffee. Jay will be sorely missed by all.

Jay Uncle,
The name itself brings a smile on my face. He used to bring so much confidence in a person that you would think that the world is there in front of you to conquer. There are so many positive adjectives that I would love to describe in Jay Uncle that it would be unfair to list a few of them.
Ankur, You truely had a gem of a Dad and though he used to pester and push you to study in the early 2000s, you may now realize that he always knew you would one day shine like a diamond which you have now. Be strong for your family and Aunty, cause God has recalled one of his gems back.
Jay Uncle, you would be missed !!!!

To hear about my friends passing brings tears to my eyes. I'm shocked this has happened, and send my condolences to the family.
He was always there for me, through good and bad times I could depend on him for advice. For me, he was like a father who taught me that life is better lived by the moments we share with one another. I remember growing up on 13th street as a small boy and visiting his shop, he always told such amazing stories about life and how to take risks that will make you better in the future.
This man was loved by everyone. I build a strong relationship over the years, and learned so much about different aspects of life from spending time at his shop. Some days I would even stay at his shop for hours listening on his views and how much wisdom he had to share. He will truly be missed by me. As I write this message, I think about the moments that made me who I am today, and know that he was an important part of my journey.
"Life is so short, and nothing is guaranteed", "Never give up on your dreams and always push yourself to overcome anything life throws your way"..."do things with passion and always give everything you have because it makes you stronger"... "Love those who are always there and don't be afraid to make sacrifices... Ankur, I'm happy I meet your dad and he was a part of my life. He will be missed by me and it won't be the same not having someone to talk with during those difficult times. Ankur, please know you have my support and I'm always here for anything you and your family needs. Love your dad, and stay strong... your dad is proud of you, and he told me that one day, "I'm glad to have Ankur, he's a good son". My deepest condolences to your family.

Jay Uncle,
I met him first when I came to the US as a student in August 2000. A fun loving person who was always very cheerful and looked at the bright side of life and was the most generous person I have met till date. He taught me not only a lot about America but also about life itself. His never say die attitude, and positiveneas are one of the biggest influences in my life. I couldn't have survived the initial days in the US without him.
He was and always will be one of the biggest influencers in my life. The world has lost a true gem and I have lost my godfather!!! He has etched a special place in my heart and I pray to the almighty with all my sincerity to bless his soul and to give Ankur and aunty the strength to overcome this big loss in their lives.
I truly believe uncle will always watch over us no matter where we are!!!
