Obituary of Jessica Lynn Villafana

On the Sunday of December 29, 2019, Jessica Lynn Villafana-Fenn, at the age of 47, passed away in the comfort of her own home in New Jersey. She was born to Dale and Karen (Roscoe) Fenn on October 1,1972 in Kinsman, Ohio. Unfortunately, she left behind her family loving family that grieves her absence. Jessica will always live in the memories of her husband, Moises Villafana, her daughter, Paola A. Fenn, her son, Mateo Fenn, her brother, Michael Fenn, and her parents. She is someone that was truly loved, will always be missed, and whom will never be forgotten. That’s someone who had an impact on everyone she crossed paths with. She is Jessica Villafana. To most, she abandoned a life she could’ve had in Kinsman, Ohio, but no one opened their minds enough to realize she was on a mission of her own. Creating a path that she, and only she could walk through. seeing light from a different perspective. She took around at such a young age and noticed everyone was identical to one another. She yearned to have an identity of her own in a place she didn’t feel provided it. An identity of her own that no one could compare to a neighbor or to a friend. To the dismay of others, and it’s said with no offense, no one cared to ask how she felt about taking off to New York to start the rest of her life. There’s no doubt she was scared surrounded by millions, never early the same set of faces each day, but she was vivacious and strong-willed. From time to time, she struggled, wobbling and falling down, as a table does, but her power and determination guided her through obstacles. Jessica’s greatest role model was María Eva Duarte de Perón, or Evita Perón. She made it her priority to help people just as Perón did. For those who don’t know, Perón had helped her country of Argentina through crisis, and while there’s a big difference between a country and a handful of people, she’s looked upon as a hero by those she helped and especially her daughter and husband. ““I know that like every woman of the people, I have more strength than I appear to have.”-Eva “Evita” Perón
