I was fortunate to have Ed as a friend to skate and have many great conversations with. He motivated me to believe in myself more and to become a better person. My heart is heavy and in pain because of the sudden loss of such a miraculous soul we know as Ed Martinez. I miss you dearly hermano.

Was lucky enough to spend many years traveling, skating, and shooting the shit w Ed. Amazing guy, kind heart and spirit and would do anything to help a friend out. He will be missed by many.

I spent years filming and skating with Ed while he lived in Philadelphia. He always brought humor and energy to the group, I will miss our conversations most, he had a way with words that I won't soon forget. He was an great friend and a true original.
