Ulysses V. Contreras, age 84, of La Chimba, Chile/Union City, NJ, left to eternal peace on October 11 of 2023 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on August 9th, 1939 to loving mother and father, Ana Garcia Carvajal and Hector Contreras Zepeda. He leaves behind his beloved wife Silvia Rodriguez Roman, three loving children, Jacqueline Contreras and her husband Julio Cordova, Ulysses Contreras, and Silvia O’Hara and husband Patrick O’Hara, and four adoring grandchildren, Frances Gonzalez, Patricio Gonzalez, Alanna Contreras, and Patrick O’Hara Jr and a long lasting legacy of love.

On Friday October 13th of 2023, family and friends are invited to meet in the funeral home at 4:00pm where a funeral service will be held until 9:00pm offered at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home Inc (4543 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ 07047)

Followed by a funeral mass the following day October 14th of 2023 beginning at 9:00am offered at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church located at 3900 New York Ave, Union City, NJ 07087
