Obituary of Clara S. Veintimilla

Clara Sofia Veintimilla Rios, 83 of Guttenberg, New Jersey, passed away January 10,2021 in her sleep. She was born to the late Julio Cesar Rios Jimenez and Micaela Rios Tola, June 13,1936 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Clara graduated from Guayaquil High School in 1954 and received a Bachelors in Pharmacy at the Univeridad Estatal de Guayaquil, Ecuador. She married her husband Gaston E. Veintimilla Arrobo in 1967. They lived in Guttenberg ,NJ and were married for 54 years. Clara is survived by two children Gaston D. Veintimilla, Of Congres, NY; Carlos A. Veintimilla Of Emerson, NJ. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Gabrielle Veintimilla, Jacquline Veintimilla, Patrick Veintimilla and Micaela Veintimilla. Clara was an accomplished Pharmacist (in Ecuador) and Lab Technologist (in New Jersey). She was a loving and caring human being. Loved her family very much (husband, sons, grandkids, brothers, sisters, uncle, aunts, nephew, nieces, friends and etc.). She loved shopping and eating out. Her favorite food was Chinese Food at Chan’s Dragon Inn. Her favorite show was Three’s Company. The beach was her favorite outdoor activity. Her favorite musical band was “Los Panchos”. She fell in love with New York City the first time she came in 1954. Her favorite pet was our beloved German Sheppard Tony “ The Tiger .” No wake. Mass will be held on Friday, January 15,2021 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in North Bergen, New Jersey. The burial will take place at 11:30am at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood, New Jersey. The family insists that people make donations in support of Alzheimer's Association in lieu of sending flowers.
