Obituary of Noemi Madrid

Noemi Madrid of Belleville, New Jersey. Formerly of Jersey City, New Jersey. Visitation will be offered Sunday January 10, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM. On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, our beloved Noemi Madrid, age 55, was called to join her Lord and savior. In the kind words shared by a friend, “The best among us are always called to be in heaven first.” Noemi was born at Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in Jersey City, NJ to Carlos Garcia and Candida Gonzalez on December 23, 1965. On November 7, 1992, she was happily united in marriage to her love, Brian Madrid. They celebrated 28 years of marriage this past November. Lovingly known to her sisters as “Nae” and simply as “Titi” to her nephews and nieces, Noemi was special to so many people who she managed to directly or indirectly touch with her kind, loving, giving ways. She was a true servant of the Lord and demonstrated that to all who knew her. She dedicated her life to the Lord first, doing his kingdom work through her absolute dedication to her church, Iglesia Evangelica la Trinidad, where she served as the secretary and Bible study teacher for over 20 years. Second on her list was her husband, then family and church family, whom she cared for deeply and whole-heartedly. She successfully launched her catering business, Noemi’s Specialty Catering, and provided the best home-cooked meals, deliciously made with lots of love and care to many. She loved to go thrift shopping, take day trips to different parts of P.A., visit lighthouses, and to spend time with her best friend, Linda in P.A. Noemi is survived by her husband, Brian Madrid, sisters Candy Molina, Loida Hernandez, Debbie Garcia, Raquel Mazon, her brother Mickey Garcia, 25 nieces and nephews, 2 great nieces, great nephew, and several beloved in-laws. Predeceased by her brother Carlos Juan Garcia, father Carlos Garcia, mother Candida Garcia, and sister-in-law Sol Marie Garcia. Family, friends, and others whose lives Noemi touched are invited to the Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, 45-43 Kennedy Blvd., North Bergen, NJ from 12pm – 3pm, on Sunday, January 10, 2021, to celebrate her life, reminisce, grieve, and encourage each other in Christ’s love.
