Gisela Cardenas, born July 31 1961, in Havana, Cuba, passed peacefully on April 14, 2026. She was 64 years old. Daughter to the late Armando and Carolina Cardenas she is survived by her three children, Stephanie, Miguel and Jennifer; her brother and sister, Jose and Lissette, along with her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren who she loved so much. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest joys and reasons that put a smile on her face. 

To everyone she came across, she embraced with love, affection and selflessness. Gisela’s greatest qualities were the love she gave others, the compassion she exuded when caring for people and her beautiful smile that lit up any room. Her faith and belief in God led her through life. She loved to listen to worship music and sing along to it, even in her final days. She will be sorely missed and deeply loved. 

Her children will welcome family and friends to pay their respects on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home in North Bergen, NJ.
