Samuel Mathew Crandall Obituary
Samuel Mathew Crandall, 39, was called home, leaving behind a life that, though far too brief, was filled with love and a spirit that could not be dimmed.
He walked through this world with a tender heart and a searching soul. At the center of his life was a deep belief in God. Even in life’s most uncertain moments, that faith remained a steady light, guiding him forward and reminding him he was never alone.
Sam was known for his million-watt smile, one that lit up every room he entered. He had a natural gift for making others laugh—always ready with a joke or a lighthearted word that lifted spirits and drew people together. His presence was warm, genuine, and unforgettable.
Though he is no longer with us, his story lives on in every heart he touched. The light he carried continues to shine through the love he gave so freely.
We take comfort in knowing that Sam is now at peace in the presence of the Lord - whole, restored, and free. In heaven, where sorrow has no place and joy knows no end, we trust he has been welcomed with open arms. We imagine him reunited with those who went before him, embraced in love, and walking in the light of God’s glory. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we hold onto the promise that this is not goodbye, but a sacred pause until we are together again.
He is survived by his beloved son, Zachary; his cherished partner, Ingrid, whose love meant so much in his life; along with many friends and a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever held in God’s grace.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
