Gloria Hernandez, 78, of North Bergen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born on June 11, 1947, in Moca, Puerto Rico, Gloria was the beloved daughter of the late Angel and Modesta Hernandez. She was predeceased by her cherished son, Felix “Papo” Gonzalez; her brother, John Hernandez; and her sister, Olga Hernandez. Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, Dionisio Rodriguez; her loving son, Richie Gonzalez; her daughter, Nadine Lopez; and her beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. A true matriarch, Gloria was the heart of her family.

She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together, warming everyone’s hearts with her delicious cooking and radiant, positive energy. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. A woman of profound Christian faith, Gloria found great joy in her church community.

As a choir member in her father’s parish, her beautiful voice uplifted many and will forever be remembered, echoing in the hearts of those who were blessed to hear it. Gloria Hernandez leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation services will be offered on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be held on April 1, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, New Jersey.

Le sobreviven su devoto esposo, Dionisio Rodríguez; su querido hijo, Richie González; su hija, Nadine López; y sus adorados nietos, quienes fueron una fuente inmensa de alegría en su vida.Una verdadera matriarca, Gloria fue el corazón de su familia. Tenía un don especial para unir a las personas, llenando los corazones de todos con su deliciosa comida y su energía positiva. Fue una esposa, madre y abuela ejemplar, su amor no conocía límites.

Mujer de profunda fe cristiana, Gloria encontró gran gozo en su comunidad de iglesia. Como miembro del coro en la parroquia de su padre, su hermosa voz inspiró a muchos y será recordada por siempre, resonando en los corazones de quienes tuvieron la bendición de escucharla.

Gloria Hernández deja un legado de amor, fe y familia. Será profundamente extrañada y siempre recordada por todos los que la conocieron y la amaron.
