RAQUEL CAPOTE, 93, of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away on DECEMBER 14, 2025 in Paramus, NJ.

Funeral service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ridgefield Park, NJ on DECEMBER 19, 2025 @ 9:30am. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, NJ. Visitation will be held at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home on DECEMBER 18 from 4pm to 8pm. Jorge Rivera Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Raquel was born in Delicias, Cuidad de Puerto Padre, Provincia de Oriente, Cuba.  She came to the United States in 1955. She began her career in the garment industry in NYC, got married and raised two daughters. She also helped raise her grandson. She enjoyed playing dominoes, cooking, watching the Yankees, sewing and spending time with family and friends. Her house was always filled with loved ones.

Raquel is survived by her loving daughters Marvelys Capote and Rosa Fawcett, Son-in-Law John Fawcett and beloved grandson Nicholas Capote.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all that loved and cared for her.
