Ricardo  M. “Papi” Pantoja, of Newburgh, NY & NJ, passed away on Tuesday October 28, 2025. Ricardo was born October 12, 1954 in Barrios Altos, Lima, Peru. Son of the late Isauro Pantoja and Luisa Ponce Pantoja. Ricardo was a longtime member of the Catholic Brotherhood of Senor de Los Milagros in Newburgh, NY.  He is survived by his life partner, Gloria Triminio, his daughters: Vanessa Ortiz (Ernest), Aida Rodriguez (Shawn) & Janett Rodriguez (Angelo), Grandchildren: Akinto jr. & Montrice Boone, Taylor & Elias Brooks and Avery Ortiz, Siblings: Carmen Rosa Pantoja Mansilla, Maria R. Pantoja, Isabel Pantoja, Esther L. Pantoja, Victor Pantoja, Maritza Pantoja & Teresa Pantoja-Mera (Juan), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co- workers, who he regarded as family. He was predeceased by his brother Isauro Felipe Pantoja and his sister Luisa DiNardo (Mario) and his beloved pet Marlo.

Ricardo was an amazing dad, granddad, husband, uncle, mentor, brother, and friend. The joy he had for life was palpable and contagious. Knowing Ricardo was to know unconditional and unwavering love. He loved to travel and embrace new experiences, especially exploring cuisine and different cultures, but mostly he loved his family. Because of him, our lives are forever changed; they are fuller, brighter, and forever touched by his unconditional love.

Visitation will be offered on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
