Ralph Perez Aceriedo Obituary

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Ralph Perez, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and stepfather. Ralph entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 12, 1956, in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York, to Pedro Perez and Juanita Perez Acevedo, Ralph lived a life rooted in faith, family, and resilience. From his early years in Brooklyn to nearly two decades of leaving his mark in Hoboken, New Jersey, Ralph carried with him a legacy of strength, warmth, and loyalty that touched everyone who knew him. Ralph was a true man’s man—known by many as an “OG.” He lived by a code of honor and carried himself with pride, yet he had a heart of pure gold. Ralph never shied away from helping a friend in need or someone facing hard times. He loved unconditionally, never judged others at their worst, and always found a way to lend a hand. To know him was to know loyalty,

compassion, and strength wrapped in one. Respected in every room he walked into, Ralph was the kind of “OG” whose word carried weight, whose loyalty never wavered, and whose presence demanded both respect and love.

Ralph leaves behind his devoted wife, Mildred Perez. Though their journey together included time apart, nearly twenty years ago, they rediscovered their love and built a life together in Hoboken, standing faithfully by one another’s side through joys and challenges alike.

He is also survived by his cherished son, Ralph Perez, Jr. (affectionately known as Butter), his daughter-in-law Erica Perez, and his treasured grandson, Isaiah Perez, who brought him immense pride and joy. Ralph’s love extended deeply to his family without regard for biology. He embraced his two stepsons, Manuel J. Diaz and Christopher Campos, and their families. Through Manny,

Ralph is remembered by his grandchildren Jocelyn Diaz, Justina Diaz, and Manuel J. Diaz, III., as well as by Manny’s wife, Debbie Diaz, who shared in caring for the family. Through Christopher, Ralph is remembered by Chris’s wife, Krinsy Campos, and his granddaughters

Angelina, Ariella, and Alexa Campos. His legacy of family continues through his step-grandchildren as well, Lexi Ferrer, Devin Ferrer, and Bianca Ferrer, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Ralph is also remembered with love by his brothers: Pete “Junior” Dugan, Miguel “Mikey,” and Leonardo “Didi” Perez. And is now reunited in eternity with his late brother Gabriel, and sisters Selena and Blanca. Ralph’s life was a testament to honor, loyalty, and unconditional love. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories

cherished by all who knew him.

His family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the funeral home Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
