Zoila Milagros Pasián Arias, profundamente querida por sus hijas, partió de su querida familia septiembre 5, 2025. Zoila nació en Elías Piña, República Dominicana, 23 de noviembre de 1946, hija de Ángel Nelio Pasián y Zoila Amparo Arias. Fue madre de Victoria, Bertha y Vilma. Crió a sus hijas con amor, devoción y trabajo duro.

Trabajadora de la industria textil en Liz Claiborne en North Bergen, estilista graduada de la Academia de Belleza Wilfred y entusiasta de la acuarela y la cerámica, Zoila pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Union City, Nueva Jersey, tras llegar a Estados Unidos en febrero de 1983.

Como católica devota, fue una feligresa activa y colaboradora de la iglesia de San Agustín. 

Nuestra querida Madrecita, gracias por darnos la vida, por el amor y el sacrificio que nos permitieron una vida mejor. Sobre todo, gracias por tu invaluable guía. Le sobreviven sus hijas, Victoria, Bertha y Vilma; sus nietos, Ethan y Julián; y sus nietas, Kristina, Clarissa y Victoria; así como quien fuera su esposo en vida, Víctor Manuel Cepeda. Además de su familia, dedicó su vida a cuidar de sus amistades a lo largo de su generosa vida. 

Celebracion de su vida sera mediante la misa, de cuerpo presente, el martes dia 9 de Septiembre a las 10 am abierta a amistades y familiares en la Iglesia Católica Romana de San Agustín 3900 New York Ave, Union City, NJ 07087 

Cremacion e intierro de  cenizas sera un evento intimo y privado por deseo de sus seres queridos. 

En lugar de flores, haga una donación en nombre de Zoila a la Fundación contra el Cáncer Susan G. Komen, la Fundación de Alzheimer de América y la Fundación de Parkinson. 

Zoila Milagros Pasián Arias, deeply loved by her daughters, departed her beloved family September 5, 2025.  Zoila was born in Elías Piña, Dominican Republic, November 23, 1946, the daughter of Ángel Nelio Pasián and Zoila Amparo Arias.  She was the mother of Victoria, Bertha and Vilma. She raised her daughters with love, devotion, and hard work. 

A textile worker at Liz Claiborne in North Bergen, a Wilfred Academy of Beauty graduate, and a watercolor and ceramics enthusiast, Zoila spent most of her life in Union City, New Jersey, after arriving in the United States in February 1983. As a devout Catholic, she was an active parishioner and collaborator of St. Augustine's Church.  Our dear Mother, thank you for giving us life, for the love and sacrifice that allowed us a better life. Most of all, thank you for your invaluable guidance.  

She is survived by her children, Victoria, Bertha and Vilma; her grandchildren, Ethan and Julián; and her granddaughters, Kristina, Clarissa and Victoria; as well as her husband in life, Víctor Manuel Cepeda. In addition to her family, she dedicated her life to taking care of her friends throughout her generous life. 

Celebration of her life will be through Mass, with the body present, on Tuesday, September 9 at 10 a.m. open to friends and family at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church 3900 New York Ave, Union City, NJ 07087. Cremation and burial of ashes will be an intimate and private event at the wish of her loved ones. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Zoila's name to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, and the Parkinson's Foundation.
