Marie Nela Berry, 63, of North Bergen, NJ

July 14, 1962 – July 20, 2025

With deep sorrow and loving memories, we announce the passing of Marie Nela Berry, who departed this life on July 20, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Marie later made her home in North Bergen, New Jersey, where she built a life filled with laughter, resilience, and love. Marie was known for her joyful spirit and vibrant sense of humor—always the one to bring light and warmth into every room. 

Marie held several administrative roles over the years before transitioning to the healthcare field, where she dedicated the last 15 years of her life to helping others. Her hard work, compassion, and loyalty touched many lives.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jasmine and Stephanie; her cherished grandsons; her siblings, Melande, Harry, and Edeline; as well as many adored nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; her brother, Gregory; and her loving parents, Yvonne and Albeny. 

Marie’s presence was a gift to all who knew her. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever.
