Biagina Anna Rotoli Obituary

Biagina “Anna” Rotoli was born in Paolisi Italy in 1937. She immigrated alongside her

family to the United States in 1958, attending Dickinson Evening High School,

graduating as the Valedictorian of her class. She later started a long administrative

career in publishing at McGraw Hill, in New York City. A devoted daughter, loving sister,

cousin, and aunt, she always kept her family first and kept her morals strong. A devout

Catholic, she was devoted to caring for her parents, lending a helping hand to

neighbors, offering advice, and was seen as the matriarch by her family. Anna, as

known by her friends, is survived by her sister Rose, predeceased by her parents

Raffaella and Vincenzo, her brothers Aldo, Antonio, and Francesco, and sister

Antionetta. She leaves behind nieces and nephews who will always remember her

strength, caring ways, thoughtfulness, and strong will. Her dear friends will never forget

her extending a hand or lending an ear. Anna’s virtues and principles were never

compromised by the world’s changing times, acting as the foundation for how she lived

her life. For those who knew her and for her family, this highlighted her strength,

providing for moments of personal reflection and opportunities to live life by a higher

moral standard. Anna’s strong faith will lead her to the reunion with those that passed

before her, a moment in life she embraced and faced with certainty. Anna will be dearly

missed. May God Bless her and keep her in His arms.
