Helen Jimenez

July 23, 1963 – June 19, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Jimenez, who left this world on June 19, 2025, at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in hospice care, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Jersey City on July 23, 1963, Helen was the beloved daughter of Marcelina Torres and Pedro Jimenez, both of whom preceded her in death. A devoted mother, she leaves behind her two sons, Rafael and Alberto Jimenez, who were the light of her life. She was also a cherished grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters: Anissa Bartee and twins Adalis and Arielis Jimenez, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Helen is survived by her loving siblings, sisters Sylvia Jimenez and Lidia De Los Santos, and brother Luis Jimenez, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss her kind heart and warm presence.

In her final months, Helen made the profound decision to accept Jesus Christ into her heart and embraced her faith with grace and peace. Her spiritual journey was a source of comfort and strength to her and those who loved her.

A viewing and service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, 4543 Kennedy Blvd. North Bergen, NJ. A family-only viewing will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a public visitation from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Helen will be cremated per her wishes.

Helen will be remembered for her strength, her quiet resilience, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
