Con profunda tristeza y sincera gratitud por su vida, compartimos el fallecimiento de Jaime Linares, conocido por sus amigos cercanos como “Cuty”. Rodeado de su amorosa familia, partió a nuestro Padre Celestial el 10 de Junio del 2025. Significó mucho para los que lo conocieron: un esposo devoto, un padre amoroso, un hermano/tío cariñoso y un gran amigo. 

Nacido y criado en La Paz, Bolivia, emigró a Union City en su juventud y luego se mudó a Jersey City, NJ, donde formó una familia. Allí pasó el resto de su vida, encontrando alegría compartiendo con su familia, sus amigos y su amor por los deportes.

Luchó con valentía y un espíritu inquebrantable hasta el final. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Ana Ivonne Linares, y sus dos hijos: Andrea y Rodrigo. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Miriam, Juan y Janet.

El espíritu cálido y amoroso de “Cuty” será profundamente extrañado, pero su cariño, alegría y los recuerdos que dejó vivirán para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Familiares, amigos y seres queridos están invitados a la visita el sábado 14 de Junio de 4:00 PM a 8:00 PM en la Funeraria Jorge Rivera, 4543 J.F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ. 

With profound sadness and heartfelt appreciation for his life, we share the passing of Jaime Linares best known by his close friends as “Cuty”. Surrounded by his loving family he joined our Heavenly Father on June 10th, 2025. He meant so much to so many- a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring brother/uncle and a thoughtful friend. 

Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia he immigrated to Union City in his early adulthood and later moved to build a family in Jersey City, NJ. He spent there the remainder of his life and found joy spending time with the family he built, his friends and his love for sports. 

He battled bravely with unwavering spirit to the very end. He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Ivonne Linares, his two children: Andrea and Rodrigo. He is also survived by his siblings Miriam, Juan and Janet. 

Cuty’s warm and caring spirit will be profoundly missed, but his affection, happiness, and cherished memories will forever remain in our hearts.

Family, friends and loved ones are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday June 14th from 4PM-8PM at the Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, 4543 J.F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ.
