Daniel Lopez went home with the Lord on Saturday, May 24th 2025. Born in Cuba and immigrating to Union City at the young age of 10. Where he lived and built roots until residing and building a family in Rutherford NJ. He found the greatest joy in being outdoors; playing tennis with his friends, fishing, and above all- watching his kids play softball and baseball. 

He was a devoted father, son and brother whose life was defined by his unwavering commitment to those he loved. 

Daniel dedicated his life to raising his children. He was a source of strength to everyone. He had a warmth, kindness, and selflessness touch to all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

He is survived by his children, Justin, Danielle, Keila, and stepson Christian; his siblings, Maria Esther, Samuel, David, and Richard; and his mother Catalina. Daniel treasured his family creating a lifetime of beautiful memories and always focusing on the good times they shared. 

In his life Daniel found comfort in God. Daniel will be remembered for his big personality, infectious smile and the laughter he brought to so many. His presence will be deeply missed but his legacy of love will live on in the many hearts who knew him.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 28, 2025  and Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurtst, New Jersey.
