Eva Luz Cotto, 83, of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday May 12th, 2025 at Jersey City Medical Center. Born on February 10th, 1942 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, She created a large loving family. She is survived by her children Rosemary Puebla and Marilyn Madera Rivera, her grandchildren Christina Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Gamaliel Madera, Jacqueline Madera, Alexander Puebla, and Adriana Puebla. Her brothers Juan Bautista Rivera and Cornelio Rivera Jr., and her sister Myrna Gerena; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. With joy and respect your spirit will live in our spirit, heart, and mind today, tomorrow, and always.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 16th from 9:00am to 11:00am at Jorge Rivera Funeral Home, Burial service to follow.
