Jason “ JP” Poueriet passed away April 29, 2025 at home in DeBary, Florida—a home that he, with so much love, made a true sanctuary for his family. His passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A devoted father, Jason’s children were the greatest joy of his life. He leaves behind two sons, Julian and Jason Poueriet and their mother Jessica Chin, and two daughters, Maliya, Meylani , stepson Jasye and their mother Jennifer. Every moment he spent with them was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering care. His role as a father was the heart of who he was, and he embraced it with deep pride and joy.
Jason was a beloved son to Carmen “Margarita “ Fernandez-Poueriet and Radame Poueriet of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
He is also survived by his siblings:
• Magin Reyes and his wife Nieves
• Roxana “Chana” Rosario and her husband Ramon “Amauri” Rosario
• Giovanni Coplin and his wife Paula
• Margarita “Eliza” Reyes and her husband Rafael Gomez
Jason’s love extended deeply to his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Known for his quick wit, warm heart, and generous spirit, Jason had a deep appreciation for life and an instinctive desire to help others. Whether offering a hand or sharing a well-timed joke, he brought light into every room and comfort into every life he touched. He lived with passion, purpose, and a soul full of kindness. Jason’s memory will live on in the lives of his children, his family, and everyone blessed to have known him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
