Barbara Estella Espino peaceful passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 99 surrounded by her loving family. “Mima” was born in Cuba and was a lifetime resident of West New York, NJ. She leaves a legacy of love, kindness, grace and generosity.
Mima worked in the embroidery industrial, loved to cook, listen to music, dance and most of all spending time with her family. She lead a beautiful life full of love and laughter. She was devoted to God and her family; loved unconditionally, was kind, giving and selfless.
Mima is survived by her daughter, Norma; grandchildren, Mary and Rick; great grandchildren, Ricky, Amanda, Olivia, Caitlyn and Justin; great-great grandchildren, Alvin and Otto; bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings and lots of loving family and friends. Mima taught her family to work hard, dream big, respect others, honor your family, love passionately and enjoy life. Her presence lit up a room with her bright smile, joy for life, elegance, humor and her charismatic personality.
Mima is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. We will cherish the memories and the wisdom she shared.
Mima is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the funeral home, Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
